Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis began its Flat Files program in May 2006 in order to make the talent of Midwest artists more visible and accessible to the public. The Flat Files contain works on paper, including drawings, photographs, and collages, which are stored flat (thus the name) in portfolios and arranged by artist.
